WATERTHORPE NURSERY INFANT SCHOOL Clothing and uniform
Please note we will shortly be offering 'essential' uniform at a lower price than the 'classic' style that is currently on offer. This is to support financial demands on parents/carers.
All children in Foundation Stage Two and Key Stage One at Waterthorpe Nursery Infant School are expected to wear the school uniform. This may be plain (white, red, blue or grey uniform is available in most stores) or with the school logo on. Uniform is optional for children in the Nursery.
Uniform with the school logo on can be purchased through the school. Please call at the office for an order form or complete the form below. Uniform is optional in the Nursery:
Navy Blue or Red sweatshirts or cardigans
Navy Blue, Red or White poloshirts or roll necks
Navy Blue, Black or Grey trousers, skirts, pinafores, jogging bottoms
And tailored shorts (including Black jeans)
Red and White/Blue and White checked or striped dresses
Grey pinafores
We expect children to wear the uniform on school visits.
If your child comes to school wearing wellingtons or boots, please send a change of footwear. It is important that your child wears sensible shoes, with low heels, to school for their own safety.
Everything your child brings to school should be clearly named, particularly coats and P.E. clothing.
P.E. in the hall is done in bare feet. When children undress for P.E. shorts and teeshirts or leotards can be worn but are not essential.
Children who attend after-school sports clubs should bring appropriate clothing to change into.
